Main features:

* Openworld exploration

* Feel again the simplicity of GameAndWatch like games.

* Character conversations and reactions change with the time of day

* Pure arcade action

* Puzzle solving

* Secondary missions.

* A Cinema Noire inspired story.

* Autosaving in each scene which allows a pick a few minutes for play and continue later.

* Japanese and English language support

You can play it with your keyboard or controller.

MAKING OFF

It was made following as close as possible the way old Liquid cristal games were done back in the 80's.

 All the game art has been hand drawn on paper as it was back then, every pose or character has to repect that they can't overlap in order to be able to be created into a physical liquid cristal display game.

 It has been done with two llayers in mind as if they were physical transparent layers.

The text uses a simulated 16 Segment system as text displays available at that time.

We even went o the legth of generating a shadow made by the characters becuase of the physical polarised layer being 1 mm above the background grey layer.

This game is a love letter to all that era of the first vidfeo games, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

I purchased and played "Light City District" on Steam.

I was so pleased with the ambitious style of the game that I played it all the way to the end. I hope to play the rest of the game someday!

The game is in Japanese, so it was very helpful to understand the story smoothly.

Thank you for a fascinating game. It was a great inspiration for me.

Hi SunfishKumano!

It makes me immensely happy that you enjoyed the game :).

Also, the extra effort of porting it to Japanese was worth it ;).

Hope I can continue creating the game someday :).
